Hey! We’re William and Nikisa. We’re a happily married couple who have been together for a decade, and we love celebrating when other happy couples find their own “otter halves.” When we aren’t gazing into each other’s eyes on the beach (which has maybe only happened once), we’re playing with our dog, exploring the wide world of craft beer and cider and experimenting with new cocktail concoctions.

Otter Half Event Bartending was born when we were planning our own wedding. We were planning on a budget, and found there was a gap in the market for folks like us who wanted a great wedding bar experience, but weren’t looking for a luxury option. Now we’re here to fill that gap and make your big day even more awesome!

Think of us like your favourite aunt and uncle running the bar. Except: we’re total pros (hey maybe your aunt and uncle are, too! No shade.) Nikisa is certified by Nimble Bartending Company, and Will has years of experience behind the bar in film industry events.

We consider being included in your wedding an honour, and we’ll make sure that everything we do fits into your vision for your party. We’re LGBTQ2IA+ allies and would love to bartend your queer wedding!

Our packages are fully customizable: we offer as much or as little preparation and logistical support as you want, including personalized signature cocktail design, menu curation and, of course, purchasing!
